By accessing or using Trade Codex ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account through our authentication provider. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
• Share your account credentials with third parties

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user data), is owned by Trade Codex and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all trade data and content you enter into the Service.

You grant Trade Codex a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

5. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Trade Codex does not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Important: Trade Codex is a trade journaling and analytics tool. It does not provide financial advice, trading recommendations, or investment guidance. All trading decisions are made at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trade Codex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination:

• Your right to access the Service ceases immediately
• We will delete your data within 30 days per our privacy policy
• Any prepaid fees for unused service periods may be refunded per our refund policy

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
